These Terms of Use govern the use of the tools on this website. The service is provided by V.O.F. FERVIST, Smirnoffstraat 22, 5703 GH Helmond, Nederland (KVK 93767056). By using a tool, or by selecting files for processing, you accept these terms.
The service and free access
FERVIST Tools currently offers browser-based utilities for working with PDF files (merging, splitting and organizing pages). The tools are currently free of charge. We do not promise that they will remain free forever; paid features, accounts or additional services may be introduced later under their own clearly announced terms. Nothing you see today requires an account, a payment or a subscription.
Technical prerequisites
The tools require a current browser with JavaScript enabled. Processing runs on your own device, so speed and the practical file-size limit depend on your device’s memory and processor. The interface warns before unusually large jobs.
Your documents and your responsibility
You may only process documents that you are entitled to process. You keep all rights to your documents; we claim none. You must not use the tools for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, or to attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the website.
Local processing
Files you select from your device are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to FERVIST. The page itself loads its own program files from the hosting provider, which processes ordinary technical request data as described in the privacy notice. No third-party cloud import is active in this release; if cloud providers are offered later, their use will be optional and explained separately before you connect them.
Results and known limitations
The generated PDF is a new file and is not byte-identical to its inputs. Known limitations, shown in the interface before processing where relevant: digital signatures become invalid in the output; interactive form fields, bookmarks, attachments and layer switches are not carried over; password-protected files can be processed only after you unlock them, and the output is not encrypted; damaged files may fail with a per-file error while other files continue. Availability and changes
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue any tool, and may update these terms; the current version with its effective date is always published on this page. Material changes apply from publication.
Intellectual property
The website, the FERVIST name and mark, and the software behind the tools belong to V.O.F. FERVIST or its licensors. Open-source components are listed with their licenses in the third-party notices shipped with the project.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of these free tools, including loss of data or unusable output files. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or affects mandatory consumer rights. Keep copies of your original files.
Applicable law and contact
