How does that work?
How your files are handled
When you add a PDF, it is read into your browser’s memory on this device and processed there by the page itself. The merged file is assembled in the same memory and saved through a normal browser download. Nothing is sent to a server — after the page has loaded, this site makes no network requests involving your documents, their names, or anything derived from them.
Closing or reloading the page discards everything. The practical size limit is your device’s memory and processor, not a server quota. This is a technical description of how the tool works, not a blanket security guarantee — your device and browser remain your own responsibility.

Privacy: what happens on your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser. The PDF you add is held in this page’s memory, inspected and reassembled there, and the result is offered back as a normal download. Nothing is uploaded, logged, fingerprinted or shared — the page has no server to send documents to.
Heavy work runs in a background thread so the page stays responsive; that is an engineering choice, not a security barrier. If a document is confidential, the honest summary is: it never leaves this device, and closing the tab removes it from memory.
What you get
Pages are copied into the new file exactly as they are — text, fonts, images and vector content are not re-compressed or rasterized. Rotation is applied losslessly on top of each page’s own rotation. A few document-wide extras cannot be carried over by page copying:
- The result is one fresh, standard PDF with your exact page order, rotations, duplicates and blank pages.
- Bookmarks, file attachments and layer switches are not carried into the result — the visible page content is.
- Digital signatures become invalid, because reorganizing changes the signed bytes. The tool warns you beforehand.
- Password-protected PDFs can be organized after you enter the password; the result is saved without encryption.
Honest limits
There is no account, quota or server limit. The real limits are your device’s memory and CPU: hundreds of pages are usually fine on a modern laptop, very large scanned files may be slow on an older phone.
The tool warns you before unusually large jobs instead of failing halfway. If your browser cannot finish a job, nothing is lost except time — your file is still on your device, untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and reassembled by code running in your browser on this device. After the page itself has loaded, no network request carries your document, its name, or data derived from it. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools under “Network”.
How do I change the page order?
Drag a page’s handle to its new place, or work entirely with the keyboard: select pages with Space, move to the target with the arrow keys and use the “move before / after” buttons. Single pages also move one step with the arrow buttons on each tile.
Can I rotate just some pages?
Yes. Select the pages and use “Rotate left/right” — with nothing selected the rotation applies to the whole document. Each tile also has its own rotate button, and the preview shows pages exactly as they will come out.
Can I delete and duplicate pages, or add empty ones?
Yes. Select pages to delete them (with one-step undo), duplicate the selection, and insert blank pages with the “+” between tiles — a blank inherits the size of the page before it, which is handy when preparing documents for duplex printing.
My scanner produced the pages in the wrong order. Can this fix it?
Yes — this is the built-in speciality. “Reverse order” fixes back-to-front scans with one click, and the two duplex-repair presets interleave fronts and backs (backs in order, or reversed — the common flatbed pattern) so 1, 3, 5, 2, 4, 6 becomes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Will organizing reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered: images are not recompressed, text stays text, and page dimensions are preserved. Rotation only changes a page attribute, not the pixels.
Can I organize password-protected PDFs?
Yes, if you know the password. It is used once, on your device, to open the file, and is not stored. The result is saved without password protection, and the tool tells you so beforehand.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No fixed one. The practical limit is your device’s memory. The tool shows a warning before very large jobs (roughly a quarter gigabyte or a thousand pages) so you can decide — these are estimates, not guarantees.
