Accessibility statement
Last updated: 25 July 2026 · Document set version 2.0 · Effective 25 July 2026
FERVIST Tools aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. Accessibility is treated as a product requirement, not an add-on.
What is built in
Every workflow — selecting files, unlocking password-protected files, reordering and organizing pages, processing and downloading the result — can be completed with the keyboard alone; drag-and-drop always has a visible button alternative. Progress, errors and reorder actions are announced to screen readers via live regions. Both the light and dark theme are contrast-checked, the layout reflows down to 320 px without horizontal scrolling, animations respect reduced-motion settings, and interactive targets meet the minimum size requirements.
How it is tested
Automated accessibility checks (axe) and keyboard-only end-to-end tests run against every release build, across themes and languages, in Chromium-based engines. Manual screen-reader sessions (for example NVDA or VoiceOver) have not yet been performed; that verification is planned and this statement will be updated when it happens — we prefer telling you that honestly over claiming it.
Known limitations
Page thumbnails are rendered as images of your document; their information is also available as text (page numbers and states). PDF documents you process are not modified for accessibility — the output preserves the input pages as they are.
