Compare PDFs reads the text of two documents and shows you exactly what changed: added lines in green, removed lines in red, everything else untouched. It is perfect for checking edits between an original and a revised version. Both files are read entirely in your browser.
How it works
- Choose the original PDF (A).
- Choose the changed PDF (B).
- Click Compare.
- Read the highlighted differences and the added/removed summary.

Frequently asked questions
Does it compare the layout too?
It compares the extracted text, line by line — the most reliable signal of what changed. Pure formatting or image changes without text changes are not highlighted.
Will it work on scans?
Only if the PDFs have a real text layer. For scans, run PDF to text with OCR on each first, then compare the results.
